Procurement Options

Labour-Only or Supply-and-Fit

Enquiries can be reviewed as a complete decorating package or as labour-only support. The tender return identifies assumptions, exclusions and information still required rather than hiding uncertainty inside a single total.

Supply-and-fit

Labour, standard sundries and specified coating materials priced against drawings, schedules, bills or a defined scope.

Labour-only

Decorating labour working to the contractor's supplied materials, programme, supervision and agreed productivity basis.

Measured work & daywork

Rates or daywork can be considered where quantities or repair requirements cannot be fixed before access.

Scope Capability

Painting and Decorating Work Packages

Airless spraying

Mist coats, broad wall and ceiling areas, subject to substrate readiness, masking and site conditions.

Conventional finishes

Roller and brush application for controlled finishes, occupied areas, detailed interfaces and smaller phases.

Joinery coatings

Skirting, architraves, doors, frames and other second-fix elements using the specified compatible system.

Feature finishes

Colour changes, selected wallcoverings and specification-led finishes where samples and approvals are defined.

External decoration

Previously painted masonry, timber and metal subject to access, weather, repairs and coating specification.

Snagging & handover

Recorded defects, touch-ups and close-out visits coordinated around final clean and handover dates.

Do you price labour-only and supply-and-fit packages?

Yes. Enquiries can be reviewed as labour-only, supply-and-fit, measured work or daywork, subject to the available project information and proposed commercial terms.

Can you work on retail shop fitting and commercial fit-outs?

Yes. We welcome enquiries for retail, hospitality, office and showroom fit-outs. Phased and out-of-hours working can be considered where the programme, access and supervision arrangements are agreed in advance.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Welwyn Garden City and assess commercial packages across Hertfordshire and North London. Projects farther afield can be reviewed against duration, programme and mobilisation requirements.

What should I send for a tender price?

Send the project location, drawings or room schedule, decorating specification, scope or bill, programme, access information, procurement route and tender return date. We will identify missing information and pricing assumptions.
